The former Vice President of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Saif-ur-Rehman Grami passed away after prolonged illness on Tuesday. At the age of seventy he was infected by heart disease and was shifted to Karachi institute of heart disease for treatment. On Tuesday he went through by-pass operation during which he was attacked by a heart attack which took his life away. His burial was held today after Namaz-e-Zuhr.
Saifur Rehman was associated with Karachi Metropolitan Cooperation (KMC) for over twenty five years and also worked for the promotion of arts, social welfare and sports. All his close people and relatives have shown grief. He left behind his widow, three sons and a daughter who were depressed on the loss. He will be missed by all his followers.
Saifur Rehamn was an asset for the art council he was an active worker and a privilege for the arts council whose works and achievements are priceless on behalf of Arts council. President Ahmed Shah have announced mourn on the sad demise of legend.
