New Zealand potent batsman Ross Taylor has been named New Zealand captain for all three format of the game. Taylor, 27, was preferred over Brendon McCullum in captaincy. Taylor as captain has led the New Zealand side to six victories from 14 ODIs and Twenty20s, compared to McCullum’s two wins from nine games in charge.
Ross Taylor who averages 41.12 in Test and 36.90 in ODIs will have tough challenges ahead in international cricket as New Zealand is placed at number 8 in Test and at number 7 in ODIs.
