
The first phase of Covid Vaccination started in Pakistan through which frontline healthcare workers are being vaccinated, if you are one of the frontline healthcare workers then you can also complete the registration process and method to get coronavirus vaccine.
A dedicated portal is launched and managed by National Information Technology Board (NITB) through which healthcare workers can initiate the registration process.
How to get registered for coronavirus vaccine?
Currently the registration is open only for frontline healthcare workers who are exposed to corona patients. They can simply follow these steps to get themselves registered:
1) Visit the NITB dedicated portal for registration
2) Provide details including Name, CNIC No., Mobile Number, Job Type & Vaccination Center
3) Submit the form
Within 24 hours the applicant should be registered for vaccination, to check your status write your 13 digits CNIC number, without any dash or space, and send it to 1166 and you will get an update about the process.
On successful registration applicants will receive a confirmation message and PIN code along with details of his appointment date, timing and location for getting vaccinated.
Applicant will be required to visit the Adult Vaccination Center (AVC) on the required date and time where he will be required to provide his original CNIC and PIN code which he received through SMS. After verification of the applicant he will be administered the dose.
After vaccination process the applicant will receive a confirmation message, this is to ensure that vaccine is provided only to the applicant against which it was registered in the system.
The process is made online through an integrated system to ensure transparency in the vaccination process. Health workers, from doctors to nurses, are required to get registered and the vaccination team is required to provide doses only to the registered applicants.
