Karachi: The Member Sindh Assembly affiliated with Pakistan Peoples Party, Kulsoom Chandio, was shot here by some unidentified armed men at Clifton area Friday evening and sustained serious wounds, local news channel reported.
According to rescue sources, MPA Kulsoom Akhtar Chandio was hit by a bullet after unidentified gunmen opened fire at her car near Zamzama Street in the vicinity of Clifton.
Meanwhile, provincial assembly member was rushed to Civil Hospital for immediate medical services where the doctors confirmed a single bullet-injury. However, the hospital sources said that she was out of danger and will get back to normal very soon.
Kulsoom Chandio was nominated on women’s reserve seat (PSW-142) from Dadu, Sindh. She is currently Member Standing Committee on Board of Revenue, Standing Committee on Law, Standing Committee on Health, Parliamentary Affairs and Human Rights, and Standing Committee on Public Health Engineering.
