University Ranking of Asia has been released and once again no Pakistani university succeeded to be ranked among the top 100 universities. The irony is not only Pakistan failed to succeed in top 100 but those who were ranked in the top 300 dropped lower in the list.
The only good news in the Times Higher Education Asia university rankings 2017 was that earlier there were only 3 Pakistani universities in top 100 while now there are 7 Pakistani universities in the list. The Universities which are ranked are:
1) Quaid-e-Azam University
2) COMSATS Institute of Information Technology
3) National University Of Science And Technology (NUST)
4) University of Agriculture, Faisalabad
5) Bahauddin Zakariya University
6) University of Karachi
7) University of Lahore
On the other hand 33 Indian Universities secured positions in the list of Top 300 including the 27th Position. India becomes the 3rd highest contributor behind only Japan and China.
