Pictures of Iftikhar Anjum are circulating on social media in which the ex-fast bowler can be seen in a religious look with long beard. The new look is being appreciated by a vast part of the society and his pictures have become viral on social media.
He is not the first Pakistani cricketer to start practicing religion rather in past we have seen many cricketers being involved in religious Dawah. Famous cricketer Muhammad Yusuf also reverted and accepted Islam who was once a Christian during his professional life in Pakistan cricket team.

Iftikhar Anjum made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe on 30th September 2004 in Lahore after which he represented Pakistan in more than 60 matches. Though his career was short lived but his performance was outstanding.
His remarkable performance was against India in April 2005 in which Indian legendry batsman Sachin Tendulkar was bowled by Iftikhar Anjum on just 9 runs. The departure of Sachin to pavilion was such a blow to Indian team that against the Pakistani target of 303 they were able to make only 259 runs.
