Pakistan Cricket Board has announced central contract 2015 for the cricketers on Saturday. 27 Pakistani cricketers have received this central contract with the increased amount and releasing of winning bonuses. According to the media reports, Shoaib Malik had not been given central contract in the month of January this year, but for his brilliant performance against Sri Lanka, he has not only given a contract but also included in the A category.
Pakistani batsman Azhar Ali has also received central contract with the promotion from B to A category. But popular spinner Saeed Ajmal and fast bowler Junaid Khan has been demoted from A to B Category. Due to bad performance, Umar Akmal is also demoted from B to C category.
Fast bowler Umar Gul, who is recovering from his Knee Surgery, is not included in the list 27 cricketers who have received central contract.
These central contracts have been given to the cricketers after two months delay, because dialogues were continued between PCB and representatives of the cricketers. Following are the cricketers who have received central contract from PCB, with their categories:
