In an awkward judgment the Assistant Commissioner of Bhakkar gave death penalty as a verdict against a dog that was found guilty for attacking a young child.
A citizen Anwar filed an application against the dog of Mr. Jalil accusing the dog of attacking his son and injuring him. He also claimed that the dog previously attacked other children in the society.
After proceeding and hearing the owner of the accused dog the assistant commissioner said that for the safety of people the dog should be killed. But the owner rejected the decision and filed an appeal in the court of additional session judge.
He said because of the attack I already spent days in jail now my dog should not be punished for the same case.
