English Cricket team has confirmed the series against Pakistan this year, in United Arab Emirates. The officials of England and Wales Cricket Board has approved the series between Pakistan and England, and has released the schedule of the series which will be played in the month of October, this year. According to the officials of English Cricket Board, both the teams will play 3 Test matches, 4 One-day internationals and 3 T20 matches.
As per schedule, first test match will be played during 13 to 17th October in Abu Dhabi. Second test match will be played after 5 days in Dubai, while third and the final test match between both the teams will be played in Sharjah, from 1st to 5th November. In the recent months, Pakistani Cricket Team is playing very well and has won all the formats of cricket recently against Sri Lanka. In the test format, Pakistani team has jumped to 3rd position in the rankings of ICC, after defeating Sri Lanka in their home ground.
While announcing the series between Pakistan and England, ECB Chief Executive Officer Tom Harrison said that “We expect this autumn’s tour will be equally hard fought.”
