Pakistan’s tour of Sri Lanka is entering its second phase with the ODIs set to begin from 23rd August. The team has been preparing hard for the series and so have been the kit designers. The Pakistan team is set to feature a brand new kit for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka with a different design but same Pakistani feel.
The new kit is sponsored by CA sports who have been associated with the Pakistan cricket team for a long time. The new kit is featured in the traditional dark green color of the Pakistani flag and has yellow stripes on one side and shoulders which adds to the sporty look.
The Pakistan cricket team will be hoping they look good on the pitch with their performances as well following a very disappointing Test series against Sri Lanka. Pakistan lost the first Test after their batting collapsed in the second innings at Galle. Sri Lanka chased down the meager 99 runs target with ease.
It was a similar story in the second Test when Pakistan failed to reach a gettable target of 271 and again collapsed under pressure and good bowling from Sri Lanka. They will be hoping to get revenge in the ODI series which starts on August 23.
