Once the applicant is registered, they will demand a fee as a starting point, after which they will promise to give you thousands of rupees worth of work at home. People are enticed by the fake advertisements and testimonials on these websites, boasting of their integrity and successful business. According to FIA, some 70,000 users are registered in these websites, which demand at least Rs 40,000 as a startup fee. Imagine the money they are scamming. The FIA needs to identify these websites and take immediate action against them. Many genuine online businesses are suffering from these scams as well, as people are losing faith in such websites. With less people taking interest, soon these businesses will perish.
