Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has changed the method of attestation and verification of Inter certificates to minimize the problem of fake certificates and mark sheets.
Previously BIEK stamped photocopies of certificates and mark sheets to attest those documents for universities, companies and other institutes but now a sticker will be pasted on the photocopies of these documents.
For this purpose special feature stickers were printed by Pakistan Security Printing Press. This is not the only step taken by BIEK to reduce the problem of counterfeit degree.
Last year BIEK started using papers by Pakistan Security Printing Press for printing of mark sheets. These new printing papers came with special security features which are very difficult to copy. Now with the new stickers for attestation the process of issuing degrees will become cleaner and difficult for people involved in fraudulent activities.
From many sessions admit cards are also being published by papers of PSPC. These all steps were taken to reduce the problem of fake degrees and mark sheets. Higher Education Commission (HEC) has also
