NED Students Made Car Runs 45 kilometres in one litre

Team NED Pakistan which comprises of ten students has make a car designed like a Volkswagen Foxy. The red colour car runs 45 kilometres in one litre (some reports have claimed that the car runs 120 kilometres in one litre at a speed of 45 kilometres an hour). The car has cost Rs. 50000.

This project of NED students have done a marvellous job by making this car which has also showed that what Pakistani students are capable of. The dream of Team NED Pakistan is to create a 100kg car and compete in the Shell Eco-marathon Asia to be held in Malaysia in July, 2012. The tiny red car will also be exhibited at the SAE Super mileage, the F1 Tech-challenge 2012 in USA

The team is planning to get investor for the mass production so that they can offer that car at the local market at Rs. 100000 and challenge market of motorbikes.
