Islamabad: After the ousted Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, disqualification by the Supreme Court verdict, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to nominate Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for the constitutional interim Prime Minister of the country, and then replace Mr. Abbasi to Shahbaz Sharif, younger brother of Nawaz Sharif as well as the chief minister of Punjab Province.
So, on Thursday, the nominated interim premier finally elected as the leader of the parliament with a heavy majority of votes. Now, this news is circulating around that the leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz has changed his mind and thinking to allow Mr. Abbasi to enjoy the leading power of the parliament till the next term of the general election.
The decision has been taken in a meeting which has been held in erstwhile prime minister house in order to console on the problems faced party, the formation of new cabinet members to be elected, and the problems faced by the Sharif family. The majority of the senior leadership has attended the meeting.
