At last MQM succeeded to hold a procession at Lahore but perhaps, the procession was a fiasco! The target MQM wanted to achieve making the people partake in the procession was unfortunately abortive as Lahorians refused to join it because they didn’t forget bad language used by MQM’s leaders for their homes!
As MQM’s leaders brought their supporters and lower class community by persuading or giving them greed from Karachi to Lahore shows that MQM was in doubt whether their procession would succeed or not and surely their doubt came true and just 5 to 6 thousands people took part in the procession whereas few of PPP’s and ANP’s leaders joined it and those 5 to 6 thousands people consisted of Karachittes mainly!
As most of the electronic and print media supported MQM and displayed or showed wrong quantity of MQM’s supporters is condemnable because media should be neutral whereas it became one-sided like always and called the procession successful! Why? I am at a loss to know why media supports MQM though it knows the role of MQM but perhaps, I know that the media is afraid of MQM’s anger and unfortunately cannot afford it!
It is said that Pakistani media is independent whereas this state of affairs shows that it is still dependent but rather subdued!
