Karachi: After spending a year behind the bars on spot fixing charges, Pakistani Fast bowler Mohammad Asif is going to be released on May 5th from the London Jail.
Mohammad Asif’s lawyer Ravi Sukul informed that Mohammad Asif is going to be released the next week. He said that there is only a week left in the completion of Asif’s one year punishment, according to the British law.
He further said that he could not make any statement right now about an immediate return of fast bowler to his country and Mohammad Asif will decide this after his release.
It is to be mention here that the Pakistani pacer was been imprisoned after the spot fixing charges were proved against him and he is also facing a 7 year ban by the ICC on the same charges.
