Karachi: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik clarified that government will not suspend mobile phone services in Karachi on new year night. Earlier, some TV Channels reported that government will block mobile services in Karachi from 31st December Evening till Morning of 1st January 2013. On other hand, Government imposed ban on Pillion riding for three days in metropolitan city.
Government orders law enforcement agencies to hold all those motorcycles that are not using silencer. Police has reached on sea view and all major roads of Clifton have been blocked through containers.
Like every year, dozens of youth will try to go seaside, Clifton and other Coastal areas of Karachi. It’s a good move from government to avoid mobile service ban in city because there are less chances of terrorism in country after 12 AM. Public should also avoid to go out of home at night without any proper reason.
