Karachi: Government of Sindh has decided to launch military operation in Karachi because Law Enforcement Agencies has failed to maintain the law and order situation in Metropolitan. But it has not yet decided that operation will implement before Ashura or after the Ashura. According to media reports, Government has planned this military operation to control the terror attacks and target killing in Karachi.
Medie report says that “In the first phase, the operation will only be carried out on the basis of information provided by Army’s Intelligence wing, however, the government don’t want to entitle it an Army operation.” Rangers and Police will be prepared with advanced weapon and armed vehicle to fight with any sort of harmful power. This wide-range military operation will cover all the areas of Karachi and no political pressure will be accepted.
The operation will be done against the Taliban groups, extortion & land mafias, target killers, serial killers and militant wings of political parties. Government will also have full support of Army in the operation. In the last few days around 100 people have been killed in port city and no major arrest has been made by police.
