Karachi: The most admirable Pakistani Ghazal Singer Mehdi Hassan has been shifted to a local hospital after sudden severe illness Friday night. According to the sources, Shehenshah-e-Ghazal has been admitted to the hospital because of the bladder pain.
It is been said by the doctors after a normal check up on Friday that he will be resting in hospital for further two days or till he gets normal.
It is to mention here that Sindh government has to bear all the expenses of the treatment of legendary singer Mehdi Hassan, as per the announcement earlier this year in January.
The King of Ghazal also known as Khan Sahib is honored with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Pride of Performance and Hilal-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan, and Gorkha Dakshina Bahu by the Government of Nepal.
