Karachi: The Managing Director of City Water Board Misbah uddin Farid has resigned from his post citing disputed issues with some controversial elements within the organization. The resignation came forward on Thursday when the city is facing serious disruption in water supply, sources told Awami Web.
According to the sources, MD Water Board took himself out of the scene because of the unnecessary involvement of unnamed elements in the matters of Water Board.
Farid, a professional engineer held the view that he could not continue his work because of the pressure and illegal work forced upon him by some elements.
