Pakistan Maritime Museum is a naval museum and park in Karachi which is visited by all parts of the society because of its unique experience, location and nominal ticket charges.
The museum is spread over an area of 28 acres on with 6 galleries and an auditorium. The biggest attraction of Maritime museum is a retired by fully assembled submarine and complete skeleton of a whale.

Ticket Prices:
The rates & entry fee are different for adult and students. Kids are charged entry fees of Rs. 20 while adults are charged Rs. 40 which is considered very nominal in comparison with other parks in Karachi.
Kids find this place perfect because of the mixture of boat rides, beautiful park and historical equipments. They take pictures with submarines, naval equipment & enjoy rides.
Timing:
Maritime Museum is open for all days of the week except Wednesday. During all other days from Monday till Sunday the timings are same & museum is open from 10 AM of the morning till 10 PM in the night.

Maritime History Gallery:
The most amazing part of the whole museum is the history gallery where you will find many interesting objects such as the amazing 8th century metallic armour which was found from Ormara and is considered to be from the time when forces of Muhammad Bin Qasim passed from the region.
Inside the history gallery historical navigation tools, instruments and maps are also available along with exhibition of Moenjodaro’s riverine trade & Ancient Trade Routes.
Naval Gallery:
Naval Gallery is dedicated to the Pakistan Navy’s achievements during the 1965 war with India. In this gallery a stone finished mural depicts the return of Pakistani fleet after successful bombardment of Dwarka.
Different naval equipments are also exhibited in the gallery along with modern computer systems to provide an amazing experience for visitors.
Orientation Lobby:
To make it a state-of-the-art museum modern easy to touch operating computerized archive retrieval system are installed for visitors who can know about Pakistan navy with the help of modern technology.
Submarine Mock:
The fully assembled Daphne Submarine gives visitors a real time experience of how submarine works. Here people can experience real life stimulation of submarine.
