New York: The secretary General of United Nations Ban Ki-Moon said that Malala day will be celebrated on November 10th. Malala is the symbol of light and guidance for the girls of whole world as she laid her life in danger for the thrust of knowledge and education, he added.
The Secretary General in his video message said that education is an element that leads towards success and prosperity and Malala is the one who has proved the power to fight for education. Malala day therefore will be celebrated on November 10th.
The 14-Year old teenager was attacked by the religious extremists more than a month ago. This type of attacks by militants and extremists is a layer of never ending terrorism and violence which our country is baring since long. The attacked teenager is under treatment in United Kingdom (UK).
