Recently an advertisement of Government of Sindh was published in leading newspapers of Pakistan. I always wondered that why our government is not using modern day communication services like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Line, Skype etc.
It was good to see that in this advertisement WhatsApp number (0333-3468828) was also given along with landline contact number and email. Facebook and Twitter profile were also mentioned.

However it is sad to see that Facebook page, Twitter Profile and WhatsApp are not properly marinated. Many things are missing from Facebook page. Twitter profile is not active. WhatsApp number is showing “Last Seen on 22nd October, 2:11 pm”
This shows efficiency of @ACESindhGovt – Today advertisement was published in newspaper in which WhatsApp no. was given to report corruption pic.twitter.com/Qz9td9YXob

It’s a shame and waste of public money to give this type of advertisement. At least one should look into these social media profiles, number before giving Ads.
One can launch complain at Provincial Ombudsman (Mohtasib) Sindh here
At the bottom of the advertisement Ghulam Qadir Thebo Chairman Enquiries and Anti-Corruption Establishment and Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui Advisor to Chief Minister, Sindh for Law & Anti-Corruption Establishment Sindh is mentioned. It means these both are responsible for this advertisement.
I request Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to look into this and advise his team to make social media profile of Government active just like his (Bilawal Bhutto) own twitter profile.
