Islamabad: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NAPRA) in a report has stated that Pakistan is going to face a loss of 3905 mega watt electricity in 2017 and this problem of load shedding will not be solved even in 2018. NEPRA in the report has negated that all the claims of government of ending load shedding till the end of current year are false.
National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NAPRA) has reported that load shedding problem of Pakistan will not end even at the end of 2018. In the report they mentioned that all the claims that government is making, of finishing load shedding till the end of 2014 have no truth in them.
This report was made by NEPRA in 2013 according to which load shedding will not end in Pakistan till the end of 2018 and in 2017 Pakistan will face a loss of 3905 mega watt electricity, while in 2018 there will be shortage of 1831 mega watt electricity.
In 2017, 316, 21 mega watt electricity will be made while the need will be of 521, 25 mega watt and in 2018 its production will be 924, 24 mega watt while the need will be of increased to 2653 mega watt. All this data has been taken from governmental documents, stated in the report.
