1) May 20, 1965: It was the first incident of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) when Boeing 707 carrying 124 people crashed in Cairo.
2) August 6, 1970: PIA Fokker F27 crashed in Islamabad killing all 30 people while trying to takeoff.
3) December 8, 1972: PIA Fokker F27 crashed in Rawalpindi killing 26 people.
4) November 26, 1979: 156 Pakistani hajjaj were martyred when PIA Boeing 707 crashed in Saudi Arabia.
5) October 23, 1986: PIA Fokker F27 had an accident while landing in Peshawar killing 13 of the 54 people.
6) August 17, 1988: President General Zia ul Haq was killed when C-130 crashed near Bahawalpur killing 30 people including US Ambassador.
7) August 25, 1989: PIA Fokker is thought to have crashed after it disappeared with 54 passengers near Gilgit.
8) September 28, 1992: 167 people were killed when PIA Airbus A300 crashed in Kathmandu, Nepal because of cloudy weather.
9) February 19, 2003: An Air force Fokker crashed near Kohat killing 17 people.
10) February 24, 2003: 7 people died, including Afghan Minister, Chinese mining Executive and Pakistani crew.
11) July 10, 2006: PIA Fokker F27 crashed near Multan killing 41 passengers and 4 crewmembers.
12) July 28, 2010: Airblue Airbus 321 crashed in near Islamabad killing 152 people, this was the biggest air crash in Pakistan after 18 years.
13) November 5, 2010: Chartered plane of JS Air crashed in Karachi killing 21 people.
14) November 28, 2010: Aircraft of Georgian airline Sunway crashed in Karachi after take-off killing 12.
15) April 20, 2012: Bhoja Airbus 737 crashed near Islamabad killing 130 people on board.
16) May 8, 2015: Military helicopter carrying Norwegian, Philippine and Indonesian envoys and their wives crashed killing 8.
17) December 7, 2016: PIA ATR-42 crashed near Abbottabad killing 47 people including former famous singer Junaid Jamshed.
