The last date to convert your Booklet Driving License into Digital Driving License has been extended till 30th September by Traffic Licensing & Training, Sindh. Digitalized Computerized System was initiated by Sindh Police.
According to Deputy Inspector General of Police Traffic Licensing & Training, people can apply for new Digital Driving License till 30th September. He further added that No driving license will be converted into Digital Driving License after the expiry of last date.
Citizens can now convert their old Booklet Driving License into new smart Digitalize Driving License. The last date is extended so that maximum number of people can take advantage of Digitalized Computerized System.
There is a new smartphone application ‘Driving License Sindh’ which was introduced by Sindh Traffic Police. This step was taken for the convenience of Sindh citizens. People will receive all the information about their license through the app or SMS.
The old Booklet Licenses will be renewed within 15 minutes while new digital license will be issued in 40 minutes, thus it will save time and energy of citizens.
IG Sindh told that this system is introduced to deal with fake licenses and to enhance the transparency. This system is also linked with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
