Korean Visa Requirements for Pakistani Citizens

Visa requirements for South Korea for Pakistanis differ according to the type of visa for which the applicant is applying. Travelling South Korea can be because of tourism, business, study or it can be on invitation of a relative or for diplomatic purposes.

Diplomatic & official Visa holders are exempted according to the Islamabad embassy of South Korea. They can travel to South Korea and can stay less than days without any visa.

Visa Requirements for Tourist:

• Valid passport of up to 6 months
• Successfully filled application form
• 01 recent photograph
• Polio Vaccine certificate if under 18.

Visa Requirements for Business:

• Personal National Tax Number Certificate & payment receipt
• Company National Tax Number Certificate & payment receipt
• Company Registration Certificate
• Bank Statement of last 6 months of Company & person

Person travelling for business purpose needs to have an invitation from Korean organization. Such person also need to provide certain documents which should be provided by the Korean inviter such as:

• Letter of invitation
• Guarantee Letter
• Registration Certificate of the Korean company

People who have visited Korea for at least 4 times during last 2 years are eligible for applying for multiple entry Visa others are not allowed to apply for multiple entry Visa.

Visa Requirements for Family:

Visa requirements for family relative same as other visa requirements except that it require invitation and guarantee from a Korean national. Alien Registration Certificate will also be required if the invitation is from a Pakistani national.

Visa Requirements for Student:

• Letter of Admission from Korean institute
• Scholarship Certificate
• University Business Registration Certificate
• Original and attested copies of Education certificates and degrees
• Statement of A/C of financial guarantee
• Family registration from NADRA

The fees for South Korean visa is non-refundable, the fees is based on the days and nature of the visa:

Single Entry for Less than 90 Days = Rs. 4,400
Single Entry for More than 91 days = Rs. 6,600
Multiple Entry Visa = Rs. 9,900

The working hours of Korean embassy & consulate for Visa application are from 09:00 to 12:00 pm. On average the processing time of any application is up to 7 working days but some application may take more days.
