Islamabad: Senate’s standing committee on water and power has ordered to issue the arrest warrants of Chief Executive Officer of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) Tabish Gohar on Thursday. The meeting was lead by Senator Zahid Khan.
This meeting was held in Islamabad to find how much production capacity and per unit production cost is produced by KESC. According to media reports, CEO arrest warrant was issued by committee because of his absence in meeting.
Zahid Khan also said that Gohar must be presented before 3rd December. The copies of the arrest warrants should be sent to Federal and Provincial Interior Secretaries. The committee had gone to the ministry to discharge the agreement based officers two months ago.
