Karachi: Police and Rangers conducted operations in different areas of the metropolitan city today in order to overcome the law and order situation. Rangers arrested a highlighted target killer Shamimur Rehman who was indulged in murder cases and robberies. Twenty three other criminals were put behind the bars and different kinds of weapons were recovered, senior officials of rangers informed media representatives.
On the other hand Police conducted search operations in different areas of the city of lights. The Senior Superintendent of CID Chaudhry Aslam said that a big plan of terrorism in Muharram-Ul-Haram has been distorted as the Police arrested four terrorists of the banned outfit Lashkare Jhangvi today. While talking to the media the SSP said that the four culprits were involve in a dangerous plan of bomb blast in the Muharram-ul-Haram.
The SSP also informed media that more than 40 kilograms explosive material and several others weapons were recovered from the arrested culprits.
