Jobs in Forest, Wildlife & Fisheries Department, Punjab

Forest, Wildlife & Fisheries Department of Punjab is responsible for conservation, protection and management of natural resources in the forest for which latest jobs are advertised in leading newspaper.

The forestry resources of Punjab province are spread over an area of 1.66 million acres for which the department was established. To protect and manage these natural forests a highly professional team is required for which new jobs are advertised in leading newspapers and are also updated on their official website.

Jobs offered in the department include:

  • Bioanalytical Scientist
  • Nutrition Scientist
  • Draftsman
  • Forest Guard
  • Clerk
  • Computer Operator
  • Lab attendant
  • Gardener

The academic requirement, experience and age limit may differ from one post to another and will be mentioned in the advertisement. The area for which the vacancies are open and the number of posts open will also be provided in the advertisement.

If you are interested in any post then make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria before applying for the job. Government prefers to select the candidate from the locality so make sure you apply for the job from your district and area.

Applications from all cities such as Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujarat, Mianwali, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur & Gujranwala will be equally considered without any discrimination. Applications will be accepted for 15 days from the date of advertisement after which no application will be entertained.

Candidates are required to send their Applications forms along with their updated CV and attested copies of required documents to the required department for which career opportunities are advertised.

Applicants should write the name and address of the concerned department on the envelope otherwise the application will not be considered for the job.

After evaluating the applications shortlisted candidates will be notified about the time and venue of written tests. After written tests selected candidates will be invited for interview after which candidates will be selected for the posts.

Candidates are required to bring their original documents and NIC for the interview. No TA/DA is applicable for the written test or interview.

Forest, Wildlife & Fisheries Department is responsible for 37 wildlife sanctuaries, 4 national parks, 12 wildlife parks, 24 game reserves, 3 zoological gardens and 1 safari park.
