Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan has cancelled the All Party Conference (APC) of political and religious parties to be held on Tuesday due to the call of Prime Minster’s All Parties’ Conference regarding the national security.
The new date of the conference would be announced after the APC called by prime minister.
Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch while talking to “SANA” told that the national conference cancelled due to the APC called by prime minister regarding the current situation, adding that the new date of conference would be announce after the APC of the government.
He said all important leaders of political and religious parties, leaders of nationalist parties, important personalities of civil society, experts of interior, defense and foreign affairs, advocates and other important personalities belonging to different fields of life were invited in this conference.
He said that the invitations were also delivered among them on behalf of Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Syed Munawar Hassan.
He said that the conference was arranged to discuss the issues of threat to national security and complete restoration of peace in Karachi, adding that the new date would be announced soon. (SANA)
