Islamabad Will Get a New Food Street Similar to Those in Dubai and Baku. Capital Development Authority (CDA) has declared its intention to build a top-notch “Capital Walk Street” in Islamabad’s Shakarparian as soon as possible.
This new walking route, which will be fashioned after well-known walking streets in Dubai and Baku, is expected to become a gathering place for foodies.
After an auction, one kanal of land would be leased to several international and domestic food chains, according to CDA officials. The only businesses allowed on the plots in Capital Walk Street will be those that sell food. More than 25 acres will be covered by the street, with half of it free for use by visitors.
Noor ul Amin Mengal, the chairman of CDA, stated that the chosen bidder will be permitted to begin within a month. He continued by saying that in addition to the food court, there would be a play area, amphitheater, and cultural attractions for guests to enjoy.
“The Capital Walk Street will provide the residents of Islamabad with a distinctive dining experience. We want to give guests a safe and secure space where they can eat meals and make enduring memories with their loved ones,” added Mengal.
The public has generally endorsed the construction of Capital Walk Street and is enthusiastically looking forward to the debut of this exciting new project.
The government is promoting tourism in the country and giving the food industry additional economic prospects as part of this strategy. The Capital Walk Street is anticipated to draw a sizable number of tourists from across the nation and abroad.
Islamabad is moving closer to being a metropolis of the highest calibre with the CDA’s plan to construct this world-class food street. Capital Walk Street is destined to become a must-visit location for food lovers and tourists alike because to its stunning surroundings and first-rate amenities.
