The results for Inter Board Karachi have been delayed for Pre-Engineering & Commerce students causing trouble for them as private universities have opened the admissions. The results were due to be announced today on 19th September but now it is being said that they will take one more week.
Professor Inam, Chairman Inter Board Karachi, said that the unwanted delay was caused by the continuous interruption of Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE). He said that questioning staff on multiple occasions was unnecessary and caused delay which could have been avoided.
We were ready to prepare & announce the result as per the suggestion of steering committee but intervention & interference by ACE caused problems, said the chairman.
He further revealed that Secretary Board & universities have been informed about the delay and the reasons which caused the unwanted delay. This is not the first time that Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) blamed ACE for the delay.
Last year the results were also delayed for which Mohammad Akhtar Gori, the chairman of BIEK at that time, made ACE responsible. In 2016 BIEK office was raided to collect evidences for corruption & tempering in exam results but ACE failed to prove anything. BIEK believes that the conclusion will be the same for this year.
