Imran Khan in on top of the list of most favorable Pakistani leaders as 68 % people has favorable view of the cricket turned politician, up from 52% in 2010, according to PewResearchCenter Publications.
Imran Khan, the president of political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is very much popular in Pakistan and mostly in youth. Imran Khan who led Pakistan to victory in 1992 Cricket World Cup is also widely popular across both main political parties; 81% of PML-N supporters and 61% of PPP supporters give him a favorable rating.
President Asif Ali Zardari has only 11% favorable view of him, down from 20% last year. Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani receives a positive rating of 37% — he had 59% in 2010.
Opposition leader Nawaz Sharif has 63% positive views; he had 71% favorable view in a year ago.
