The humanitarian situation in the besieged city of Aleppo has worsened after Syrian Government forces succeeded in taking control of a large area of Rebel controlled East Aleppo. The forces succeeded in capturing the area after heavy bombardment on civilians, targeting hospitals and using chemical weapons such as chlorine gas.
United Nations has reported that at least 16,000 have migrated from the area fearing massacre from Syrian Government.
250,000 people are under siege in Eastern Aleppo from past many years, which resulted in shortage of food, water and medicines.

It is being reported that the regime forces also attacked the fleeing citizens and killed many civilians including women and children.
Many people fled the area and found refuge in Kurdish areas which are controlled by YPG, a group which is backed by United States and Europe. But it is reported that the Kurdish group YPG handed over all male refugees, who are above 18 years, to Syrian forces who are being killed at the spot.

The Aleppo White helmets issued a statement to the world explaining the worst human crisis of the Syrian civil war and asked for protecting innocent civilians. It should be noted that in the 5 years of war at least 500,000 people were killed.
