Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Haqqani network is present in Afghanistan and Pakistan has nothing to do with it, adding that the Haqqani network was established by CIA and was not established by Pakistan.
He said that the terrorism from Pakistan would be rooted out soon, adding that the terrorists come from Kunnar and after killing Pakistani soldiers went back in Afghanistan weather we level the allegation of these attacks on CIA or Mosad.
Talking to media persons, he in Islamabad, Rehman Malik said that the armed forces are fully capable of controlling every kinds of situation in the country.
He said that more than 36000 Pakistanis lost their lives in war against terrorism, adding that Pakistan is fighting war against terrorism with its own resources.
He said that the sovereignty of the country would not be compromised, adding that if US and any other country has some intelligence regarding the presence of Haqqani network in Pakistan it should be shared with Pakistan, and we would cooperate with them.
He said that the whole nation stand with the armed forces in present situation, adding that the forces are capable of taking control over any kind of situation.
He said that the baseless allegations should not be leveled against Pakistan, adding that Pakistan is fully cooperating with US in war against terrorism.
He said that there is no check and balance at the Pak-Afghan border we do not know who is terrorist and who is not terrorist as thousands of people cross the border daily, adding that due to this situation I have directed to check the immigration.
He said that Pakistan could not root out terrorism unilaterally it would have to support world community in this regard, adding that Pakistan would continue efforts in war against terrorism; meanwhile interior minister said that the weapons recovered from Islamabad was made in Pakistan.
He said that Raymond Davis was released from Punjab jail and there was no role of interior ministry is his release. (SANA)
