Lahore: Jamat ud Dawa Chief Hafiz Saeed has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court to ban Indian film Phantom in Pakistan. On the first hearing of this case, Lahore High Court has issued a notice to the Federal Government and asked to file its response before the next hearing of this case. Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan of LHC hears this case where lawyer of Hafiz Saeed, A.K Dogar gives his arguments on this issue.
In his arguments in front of Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan, A.K Dogar said that the story of the film Phantom is based on Mumbai Attacks and it is propaganda against Hafiz Saeed and Pakistan. Both the hero and heroine of this film are connecting baseless things with Hafiz Saeed and the original statement audio of Hafiz Saeed on Mumbai Attacks is also included in this film.
It is to be noted that Bollywood film Phantom is based on the Mumbai Attacks and Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif are playing a leading role in the film. The film is set to release on 28th of August in India, while it will be also expected to release in Pakistani cinemas also.
