Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Pakistan, Senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has finally decided to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after a series of differences with the ruling PPP and its Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, local newspaper reported quoting PTI sources.
According to the report, Ex-Premier will soon settle all the matters with PTI Chief Imran Khan. Member of Central Executive Committee of PTI Jahangir Tareen played vital role in making up Imran Khan’s mind over including Gilani in the party, it added.
Current Vice Chairman of PTI Shah Mahmood Qureshi has also showed his consent over the joining of Gilani in PTI whereas Javed Hashmi has raised reservations over this development.
Analysts believe that with the joining of Yousuf Raza Gilani in PTI, it will strengthen party’s position in Multan from where they could easily grab all the National seats in the upcoming general elections.
