Faisal Raza Abidi has resigned from senate. He gave away his resignation as a protest after his basic membership of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was terminated. Faisal sent his resignation to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. However Senate Secretariat has told that no resignation of Faisal Abidi has been received.
According to some sources the ruling party PPP members has accused Faisal Raza Abidi that he was given task to negotiate with the protesters of Quetta sit-in, but he failed to negotiate with them and promoted the protesters to continue the sit-in.
However now Faisal Raza Abidi has said that government directed me to go to Quetta and communicate with protesters Faisal said that I replied that I will not affect on any decision. The decision will be taken by nation itself.
