Lahore: In his exclusive Eid message, Prof. Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has urged that we must not abandon our oppressed brothers and sisters in Kashmir, Palestine & elsewhere on this joyous occasion of Eid. In addition, this Eid-ul-Fitr demands from us that we support them till the dawn of freedom. The real Eid will be when all Muslims gain freedom from foreign occupation and are able to implement Islamic laws in their lands. We pray that Muslim Ummah emerges as a powerful & unwavering force and that Allah makes this Eid blessed and a source of good news.
He further said that this Eid has come at a time when tens of thousands of IDPs are leaving their homes and are settling in Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, and other cities. Under these circumstances, the locals have cooperated generously in the relief process along with Jamat ud Dawah. Besides arranging pre-dawn and Iftar meals on daily basis in Ramadan, Jamat ud Dawah has gifted the IDPs with ration packs, new clothes, and other goods on this Eid. The Muslim Ummah is facing several challenges, and it is in need of mutual affection and care and sharing of pain amongst the Muslim community.
Israel is bombarding the Palestinians as it fears the consequences after defeat of USA in Afghanistan. India is also at the forefront in terrorizing the Muslim community by attacking Masaajid, Madrassas and killing innocents. Therefore, these oppressed Muslims must be supported to the best of our abilities and their lives and honor must be safeguarded as well. The achievement of gaining Allah’s Pleasure through acts of worship, prayers, and fasts performed in Ramadan is in fact the real Eid for Muslims.
