The scan of Tamut, a female mummy, revealed that she may have died from a heart attack because calcified plaques were found inside her arteries.
A piece of brain was also found left along with a tool which was used to remove the brain from mummies because Egyptians thought that brain is a useless thing in the body. Egyptians preserved all organs of the body and had different gods for them but brain was discarded as useless.
