When Pakistan People’s Party was elected to govern over the country, President Asif Ali Zardari, in his address to the nation, chanted a slogan “Pakistan Khappay”! I want to ask him, what did he think of when chanted the slogan? Did he think of advancing Pakistan? Would that he had thought of Pakistan sincerely, people would have been spending their lives in better way!
After PPP took hold of government, hardships in abundance engulfed the whole nation that was already suffered due to previous government! Wrong decisions and wrong policies made by the government destroyed the economy of Pakistan! Terrorism, unemployment, inflation affected the people a lot and PPP’s famous slogan “Roti, Kapra or Makaan” has completely been obliterated!
The government has many fool ministers led by Mr. Zardari while their deeds have proved that they will not let Pakistan Khappay! This beggarly government, a US slave, has no feelings and emotions for Pakistan and the nation, even their voters who cast their vote to elect them and hoped a good change in Pakistan but unfortunately, the government brought a big change in shape of corruption, drone attacks, terrorism, and inflation and so on! The government is earning dollars and asking US for further loans and aids while Middle class is turning into lower class and lower class …!! On the one hand different taxes are being implemented on the other hand upper class is not paying taxes! Why?
Rehman Malik is a very controversial minister of PPP who himself doesn’t know which side he belongs to either PPP or MQM! He seems to be MQM Pitthu as he always reaches to meet a foreigner, Mr. Altaf Hussein, MQM leader! Similarly Mr. Zulfiqar Mirza who always shows himself off as nobody is braver than him. When MQM threatens PPP, he immediately retreats and kneels down before MQM! Do their acts show that they are eligible for ministries?! Perhaps not! They can’t actually face MQM’s threats as they are an easy mark just beating about the bush! This is why it is said “Think twice before you speak!”
Recent hikes in oil prices and milk have broken the backs of lower and middle class families! A labor that used to take tea at hotel after earning his daily wages is unable to afford tea now! Every bit of mouth is being snatched by the government sorrowfully! Hike in fares of the buses has created a further bad situation! Those who travel a lot and have to change 2 to 3 buses daily are in great trouble! What did the government give to Pakistan and the nation in return after being elected? Surely PPP has taken advantage of Benazir Bhutto’s assassination and defamed Bhutto family whereas Mr. Zardari has no guts to run the government! He has bad reputation in politics even PPP’s workers don’t like him as he has put aside wise, thoughtful and well-wisher personalities of PPP and brought his loyal and closed companions in front!
Anyways, I would like to suggest here if we, Pakistanis, want to preserve Pakistan, we will have to bring a great leadership in front! As every political party has some good people who are angry on their parties’ decisions and policies, they should take a start to create a new wing or party in which every well-wisher person from any parties takes a part to bring a positive change and consolidate Pakistan! The whole nation will surely support this wing because we are exhausted and fed up with the government in wrong hands! The government must be in sincere hands!
