Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad on Saturday get together PPP senior leader Babar Awan in Islamabad and talked about political situation.
Talking to media after the meeting Ibad said that criminal elements demoralized the differences between the PPP and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Ibad said that steps would be taken for agreement and stability in Karachi, adding that the MQM would support government’s good step. Talking on the occasion, Babar Awan said that President Asif Zardari was moving forward reconciliation policy. He said,” We are strengthening country’s institutions”.
