A shocking case of rape of innocent children at a boarding school in New Delhi has come to surface. According to reports, there were five children in total who were made to watch obscene scenes from a movie and then forced to replicate that act. On refusal, the children were made to eat human waste as a punishment.
The school has been established since 2000 and has been operating in the district of Maharashtra. But as it was not registered, the government agencies had never checked it. The incidents of sexual harassment had been going unnoticed, until one of the children returned home for vacations and told everything to his mother. Shocked, the mother lodged a complaint against the school for investigation.
When the police raided the school, most of the children were on vacation. The police have arrested the 52 year old owner of the chandaraprabaha chartable school and his 30 year old manager. The child line charity had reported that children were made target of sexual harassment and then imprisoned. This is not the first time that cases of sexual harassment of children have been reported.
In 2012, ‘APna Ghar’ organization had reported a case of sexual harassment of a young girl, who said that they were forced to have sex with strangers for money. Horrific cases like these are on a rise, where children are regularly targeted in schools and at homes.
