Peshawar: The local police have booked criminal cases against the senior leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami over the violent protests staged by the party here on Tuesday, local news channel reported. According to the media reports, the list of JI leaders includes senior provincial leaders of JI.
It is been said the leaders that are booked for violence includes former provincial minister and the local leadership of JI.
The protesters are out on the roads, demonstrating against the Anti-Islam film that mocked beloved Prophet Mohammad Salallaho Alaihi Wasallam. The roads have been blocked, stone throwing is being witnessed along with the shelling of police on the protesters.
