A question was asked from darul Iftah of renowned religious institute of Karachi Jamia Binoria Town, the questioner asked that whether it is permissible to call ‘Allah mian’ which is a word usually people in Pakistan use.
They replied that people use this word out of respect and there is no harm or sin in using this word. They explained that it is a word which is used on different occasions to give respect to someone, and if with the same purpose it is used for Allah then there is no harm in it.
Maulana Tariq Jameel on many occasions emphasized on the need of remembering Allah by his name rather than on other words such as Rab, Khuda or Khaliq. He believes that the most pure name of Allah which cannot be used for anyone in any form is Allah.
