National Accountability Bureau (NAB) sent a special team to UK for investigating the corruption charges against ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and sons Hassan & Hussain Nawaz. But it is being said that British authorities are not helping the team.
The team is in London to seek British cooperation regarding Avenfield properties for which the members of Sharif family were indicted by Pakistani courts. The judgment was based on the failure of ruling family to prove their income through which the flats were bought.
Previously Nawaz Sharif was disqualified by Supreme Court of Pakistan on charges of corruption. The corruption of the Sharif family was exposed after Panama Papers were exposed through an international team of journalists.
The combined investigation team had prepared four different cases on the ruling family including their son-in-law Captain Safdar & Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
