Pakistan blind cricket team will meet India blind cricket team in the final of the Blind T20 Cricket World Cup on Thursday (13th December). The tournament is played in Bangalore, India. In the first semi-final Pakistan team defeated England by nine wickets today. Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first, England set the target of 182 runs. In reply Pakistan achieved the target in 13th over. Mohammad Akram smashed 103 runs of 43 balls while Amir Ashfaq hit 34 runs not out.
In the second semi-final India blind cricket team defeated Sri Lanka blind cricket team by 119 runs. Pakistan blind cricket team has remained unbeaten in the tournament. Pakistan defeated Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, South Africa, Sri Lanka and West Indies in the first round.
On 8th December a controversy arose when Pakistan blind cricket team captain Zeeshan Abbasi was hospitalized after he was reportedly made to drink acid.
