After being declared as the worst airport of the world last year, Benazir International Airport has managed to restore its reputation and now it is at 9th position in the list of worst airports of the world. A website named “Guide to Sleeping at Airports”, has issued a list of worst airports of the world in which Benazir International Airport has given 9th position. In order to compile a list of worst airports of the world, the website asked the travelers from all around the world to rate the airports on the basis of their experiences.
In this survey, the passengers have been told to rate the airports according to the services provided on the terminals, cleanliness, customer service and all other miscellaneous services including comfort. After compiling all the data, the website has issued the list of worst airports around the world and Port Harcourt International Airport of Nigeria has been declared as the worst airport of the world.
The airport has also got a title of “most corrupt airport of the world”. Crowded King Abdullah Airport of Jeddah stood on 3rd position in the list, while the airports of Kathmandu, Tashkent and Kabul placed on 4th, 5th, and 6th position, respectively.
It is to be noted that improvements in the terminal buildings and hall, infamous car parking area, re-designing of business class lounge and construction of building are the major reasons behind the improvement of Benazir International Airport.
