Balochistan is the only province of the country; estimated, where there is not still a proper and official Cow (Gai) and cattle Mandi, the simple reason is mentioned that the people of Balochistan feed their own domestic animals rather depending on third sources, such as Cow and Cattle Mandi.
However, in the major cities of the provinces such as Quetta, Panjgoor, Khuzdar, Awaran, Turbat, Sibi, Zhob, Kalat, Naseerabad, Bolan, and some others, people organize their own Gai Mandi but are very little in size, to not be considered as Mawishi Mandi.
Whereas, on such big occasions as if Bakra Eid either people have their own domestically fed animals or they arrange to purchase the Cattle from local street vendors who sell the cattle in different part of the province on the season. And the most interesting point to be noted about Balochistan especially in the Baloch majority populated areas is where people only scarify the cattle on Eid-ul-Azha while cow sacrifice looks a little surprising for the inhabitances of province.
Sibi Mela is an historical festival, which is arranged in Sibi- Balochistan- annually, where different types of games and competitions are contested. In which , the different type of animals are also brought for competition and then selling them , this little arrangement of animals during the Mela is considered a Mawishi Mandi however which is not an official Mandi because this is a temporary demonstration of animals neither permanent nor official.
In addition, this festival-Sibi Mela- is a one week or 8 days Mela, the core objective of this Mela is to spotlight the culture beauty province of Balochistan.
